| For as long as Pokemon could remember, Nova Village has been their home. They never dared to go beyond the veil of clouds or the borders of the city, for that was where the clouds were and the clouds made Pokemon disappear. The clouds tore apart families and incited depression and sadness. The legends tell that the clouds were placed there by a far off deity to protect them from the dangers of the outside world, but no longer. Slowly, the clouds have been lifting, and in their place, mystery dungeons were left. These dungeons are dangerous and unpredictable, for whenever anybody leaves, the layout changes and walls shift. Many have tried to figure out the magic behind them or map them, but to no avail. So, in an effort to remember and see the past, the Explorers guild was created. This Guild aims to dispel the mystery behind the dungeons and to figure out what is happening to them. It is a dangerous job, but a prosperous one, a job full of loot and treasure. Along with this comes the outlaws, those who take and take and retreat off into the clouds. So, Explorer's jobs have shifted slightly; not only do they have to explore the dungeons and figure out the pattern, but also to keep the peace in Nova, and that certainly is a hard job. But there's something beyond the clouds, the entire town knows it. Be it treasure, another town, or something entirely different, it's Nova's job to find out. | |
